Resolve to declutter this year

Resolve to Declutter This Year!

If you’re a Netflix subscriber, you have probably seen “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo” on your home screen. The show has sparked a lot of social media chatter around seemingly mundane tasks like folding shirts. Why? Kondo takes a unique approach to decluttering: Deciding whether to keep or donate an item by holding it and determining whether it “sparks joy” within you.

As you resolve to declutter this year, Discover Goodwill is proud to accept donated items that no longer spark joy within you! We believe they can find a new home and at the same time, create opportunity for an individual who has a disability or an economic challenge—all through your generosity.
