Goodwill of Colorado helped change the lives of 143,061 Coloradans through our local community programs.

Transforming lives since 1918.
Rooted in community—and optimistic in our belief that every individual holds boundless potential—we have accomplished remarkable things together over the past year. As I reflect on our progress, I am reminded of one of Colorado’s most iconic symbols, the aspen tree. Its vibrant golden leaves may awe us each autumn, but it is the deep, interconnected root system beneath the surface that allows the entire grove to flourish. In the same way, Goodwill of Colorado’s impact is far-reaching—and often unseen—thanks to the enduring support, care, and belief of our community.
During 2024, your generosity and commitment enabled us to serve more than 143,000 Coloradans—each one a story, each story made possible by a community that does not give up on people or their potential. Whether guiding someone to a job that can lead to a career, building work and life skills through education, or ensuring dignity for a senior navigating dementia, we are committed to creating that spark of hope that grows with opportunity and independence.
Among our most impactful achievements is the successful launch of The Excel Center in Aurora—the first in-person high school for adults in Colorado. In just a year, we have already witnessed the promise of this innovative program, with our inaugural class of 68 graduates walking across the stage this past June. The Excel Center is more than a school; it is a place of second chances and new opportunity, equipped with wraparound coaching, certificate training, free transportation support, and no-cost childcare. This milestone would not have been possible without the unwavering faith and support of our community. And as we look ahead, we are thrilled to begin planning a second Excel Center in Colorado Springs, expanding opportunity even further.

Behind every number in this report is a name. Behind every name, a story of courage and perseverance. From individuals re-entering the workforce, to those building a new life after incarceration, Goodwill of Colorado’s mission is fulfilled when—together—we believe in the strength and dignity of every neighbor and give them the tools to create a life of strength, resilience and hope.
To our donors, partners, volunteers, and team members: thank you. You are the roots that enable us to stand tall, stretch wide, and reach deeper into the communities we serve. There is still work to do, still lives to transform, and still people searching for someone to give them a chance.
Let us continue to be that someone. Let us grow stronger—together.
