TRANSITIONAL STUDENT SUPPORT

Goodwill of Colorado works with referred high school students experiencing learning challenges, providing them with job skills, development, and mentoring to ensure long-term and competitive employment with Goodwill upon graduation. Goodwill will also assist participants with finding employment in the community based on their interests.  This employment may be volunteer or paid.

In this curriculum, students will learn:

  • Workforce Interests and Abilities
  • Executive Functioning
  • Workforce Preparation
  • Soft Skills Communication
  • Interpersonal Relationships
  • Job Seeking Basics
  • Interviewing Skills
  • Ongoing Community Integration for Career Exploration

Transition Services help promote workplace learning by preparing students for work and providing them with necessary pre-employment skills such as:

  • Attendance and Punctuality
  • Proficient Work Quality and Quantity
  • Attention to Detail
  • Communication Skills
  • Work Stamina and Tolerance

Effective August 21st, our donation hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday at all stores attended donation centers. Our Sunday donation hours will stay the same from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
