SCHEELS Donates Gym Equipment to Possibilities Program

Thanks to the generous support of SCHEELS Colorado Springs, the participants in Goodwill of Colorado’s Possibilities day program have brand-new gym equipment.

Possibilities serves individuals with a developmental or intellectual disability and is a 14,000-square-foot town community with learning areas including an apartment, art studio, credit union, general store, and gym. During the day, our clients move throughout the Possibilities town square to learn and practice skills such as how to cook and do laundry, work on art projects, practice doing basic financial transactions, and exercise in our gym.

When we shared with SCHEELS Colorado Springs that some of our Possibilities gym equipment was becoming outdated, they jumped right in to help our clients.

Thanks to a generous gift from the employees of SCHEELS, Possibilities now has a new treadmill, boxing bag, Pop Golf game, Ladder Golf game and more! Check out the short video and photos below to see our clients working out in the gym—thank you, SCHEELS!
