FREE JOB TRAINING AND PLACEMENT SUPPORT FOR BANKING CAREERS

Banking jobs offer competitive pay with benefits, stable hours, and opportunities for career advancement. In partnership with CareerWorks, Goodwill helps adults seeking employment begin successful careers in the banking industry with BankWork$, a free 8-week job training program. BankWork$ graduates have the skills needed to gain entry-level banking roles including Tellers, Customer Service Associates, Personal Bankers and more. In class, students take a deep dive into all elements of banking to ensure future career success. The BankWork$ curriculum includes:

  • Business Ethics
  • All digital banking platforms
  • Home Equity Products
  • Federal Regulations
  • Teller Cash Balancing
  • Loss prevention/fraud flags
  • Bank Products and Services
  • Loans and Lines of Credit
  • Resume preparation
  • Successful Interviewing
  • Job hiring Event sponsored by Bank Partners

The next classes available for students are happening June 17th and September 2nd in Aurora.
