Goodwill of Colorado offers two job-training programs to kickstart your career in clean energy. Our free, hands-on training program is designed to open doors to jobs with competitive salaries and growth potential. - Our EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) training prepares participants to repair and maintain EV charging stations. It is an intensive four-week program including 40 hours of training per week, covering everything from electrical energy fundamentals to EVSE charging standards and customer service excellence. You’ll graduate with industry-recognized certifications, plus, you’ll be prepared to sit for the SAE EVSE Field Technician Certification exam.

Goodwill of Colorado’s new Solar Installation Basics Training (IBT) program is a free, four-week, hands-on course designed to equip Coloradans with the skills and credentials needed for high-demand jobs in the state’s solar industry. The program is specifically designed for underserved and underemployed individuals, including veterans, justice-impacted individuals and career changers looking for a fresh start.
Our Clean Tech Accelerator Program highlights include:
- Free to participants with no tuition cost
- Four weeks of classroom instruction and hands-on lab training
- Industry-recognized credentials: OSHA 10, CPR/First Aid/AED and IronRidge Installer Certification, plus eligibility for NABCEP continuing education units
- Training on real equipment, including EV chargers and solar panels on mock roofs
- Employment-readiness coaching and job placement assistance with local employers
