Meet the Team: Debbie Azbell, Micro-Credentials Skills Development Instructor

Debbie Azbell is the Skills Development Instructor for Micro-Credentials, a Goodwill program that provides industry-recognized training and certifications in leading workforce industries in two weeks or less.  Debbie helps facilitate all Mirco-Credential trainings including Warehouse, Retail, Caregiving, Forklift, Flagger, and Smith Systems Driver Training to low-income individuals.

Prior to joining the Micro-Credentials program, Debbie interned at Goodwill with the ReHire program, while she was attending University of Colorado Colorado Springs. While interning at Goodwill, Debbie fell in love with Goodwill’s mission work and the culture of her team. After earning her Bachelor’s of Social Work at UCCS, Debbie joined Goodwill full time in her current role.  

Debbie is still loving the work she does. When asked about her job Debbie said, “Getting to help people get into better paying jobs never gets old!” Debbie looks forward to offering more training opportunities to Goodwill participants and seeing them flourish.
