RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

Goodwill’s residential support services allow individuals with developmental and age-related challenges to remain safely and actively in their own home with the added assurance of trained and compassionate staff helping clients access all necessary community resources to learn and thrive.

Host Home Provider (Adult Foster Care)
Goodwill can assist with ADLs, Homemaker services/training (laundry, meal planning, meal prep, grocery shopping, household chores), Rep Payee services and money management, supervision oversight, community access, medication administration and/or oversight, access to medical appointments, 24/7 On-Call System, emergency assistance, behavioral interventions as needed.

Apartment Support
This program allows individuals to remain in their own home with assistance and oversight. The following services and/or trainings are also provided as needed: Homemaker services/training (laundry, meal planning, meal prep, grocery shopping, household chores), Rep Payee services and money management, supervision oversight, community access, medication administration and/or oversight, access to medical appointments, 24/7 On-Call System, emergency assistance, behavioral interventions as needed.

Goodwill’s residential services also provide a community-based day program. Providers support the abilities and skills necessary for the individuals in services to access the community. The services include socialization, adaptive skills, and a provider to support and oversee the individual in all types of community settings, such as the park, bowling, swimming, shopping, the library, etc.

COMMUNITY TRANSPORTATION SERVICE: GOODWHEELS

GoodWheels offers door-to-door service to help mobility-challenged individuals get to appointments, community engagements and even run errand to the grocery store or pick up prescriptions. Goodwill’s licensed and professional drivers carefully transport clients who use standard or bariatric-sized wheelchairs, along with individuals who are completely ambulatory. GoodWheels can take clients to any destination within a 20-mile radius for those paying through insurance and offers unlimited travel for private-pay.
