Goodwill’s experienced and caring staff provides personalized assistance to all participants, no matter their background, as a “hand-up,” rather than “handout,” to ensure their future success and satisfaction after entering the workforce.

Career Development Services Include:

  • Assistance matching participants’ interests and skills with the right job
  • Training classes to prepare for employment
  • Help creating a resume
  • Interview coaching
  • Financial assistance with clothing, haircuts, transportation, etc. for job readiness
  • Ongoing mentoring and resource support for further career development

CW STEP Program

Goodwill can help you STEP into a rewarding job!

Goodwill of Colorado’s CW STEP (Colorado Works Subsidized Training & Employment Program) offers job training, placement and support services for individuals with financial challenges and barriers to employment. We provide paid on-the-job experience, vocational coaching and skills training, and other specialized support services. Those successfully completing the program can receive permanent job placement earning living wages with employers/ industries facing staffing shortages.

Eligible participants include adults and their age-appropriate/work ready children who are receiving Colorado Works Basic Cash Assistance. Please note that we are not able to accept applicants who are not actively receiving TANF (Colorado Works) benefits from the department of human services, and so we will require a referral from their TANF case manager in order to start them in the program.
