Grant from Subaru of America Foundation Supports Goodwill Job Training

Thank you to Subaru of America Foundation, Inc. for its generous support of Goodwill’s mission of helping Coloradans in need achieve greater independence. The $6,000 grant will help extend the reach of Goodwill’s programs, like our LIFT (Learn, Improve, Focus, Thrive) IT Training initiative, ultimately helping us assist more individuals with critically important job training.

LIFT is an 18-week training initiative that prepares participants for key IT certification exams, including A+, Network+, and Security+. Mentoring, certification exam vouchers, and job interview support are all part of the program’s experience. One of our recent graduates, Justin, shared, “My present and my future are full of possibilities that would have been unlikely without the skills that I’ve gained as a direct result of my access to education provided through LIFT. The investors, contributors, and educators involved in the LIFT program have been instrumental in my growth, and my ability to be responsible for myself, while contributing to my community.”
