Donated LEAP Bus Drives Awareness of Discover Goodwill’s Mission

To help Discover Goodwill expand the reach of its LEAP (Low-income Energy Assistance Program) initiative, Atmos Energy generously donated a 19-passenger bus, helping bring warmth to those in need across 45 counties during the cold Colorado winter months.

The Wi-Fi-outfitted vehicle will support recruiting and hiring of seasonal LEAP employees this summer and will help Discover Goodwill’s LEAP team sign up LEAP participants when the program kicks off in November.

At its Cañon City unveiling ceremony, the bus sported its new LEAP-branded wrap. Ken Fogle, Atmos Energy vice president, said, “Atmos Energy is excited to partner with Discover Goodwill to assist those in need when they need it most.”

The LEAP bus is the ninth mobile services bus donation from Atmos Energy to a nonprofit organization. Thank you, Atmos Energy, for your generosity!
