Meet the Team: Rosalita Perez, Complete Logistics Program Instructor

Rosalita Perez is Goodwill’s Complete Logistics Program (CLP) Instructor. CLP ensures students are “fully stocked” for a successful and rewarding job in the warehouse industry. Through CLP and Rosalita’s work as an instructor, students are provided with in-classroom and paid on-the-job training, course completion bonuses, soft skills tools, and wrap-around case management services. Goodwill’s customized, classroom-style courses provide participants with personal instruction and applied skills to help them achieve the National Retail Federation Warehouse, Inventory and Logistics Certification. Once students receive their certification, Rosalita works with them to find permanent employment.

Before joining Goodwill, Rosalita worked in the warehouse industry as a recruiter for US Trucking Company. Rosalita came to Goodwill for the opportunity to change lives;

“At Goodwill, I get to share my skills with my community and to let them know there is more to life than drugs, gangs, and mental health. We can’t change the past, but I’m living proof we can make the future better.”

Rosalita’s favorite part of her job is seeing students pass the National Retail Federation Warehouse, Inventory and Logistics Certification exam through Penn Foster. “There is pride in knowing once students hold their certification, they will be able to highlight it on their resumes for future opportunities,” Rosalita said. Rosalita is looking forward to seeing more students go through CLP and using the opportunity to give them a voice.
