HELPING RURAL COLORADOANS MAINTAIN EMPLOYMENT

Supporting Colorado’s Farmers & Ranchers

At Goodwill of Colorado, we are committed to empowering farmers, ranchers, and agricultural workers across the state—no matter their background or the challenges they face. Through two key programs, Colorado AgrAbility and FarmAble, we provide resources, training, and hands-on support to help agricultural workers stay independent, grow their operations, and access vital services.

Our Programs

Colorado AgrAbility Program:

Helping farmers and ranchers with disabilities, injuries, or chronic health conditions stay independent and productive. Funded in part by the USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), AgrAbility helps agricultural workers adapt, remain, or return to work through education, resources, and hands-on assistance.

How we help:

  • On-site farm and ranch visits to improve accessibility and safety
  • Recommendations for adaptive equipment & home modifications for working with physical challenges
  • Workshops & education for farmers, ranchers, and family members with disabilities
  • Resource referrals
