DEVELOP YOUR CAREER IN FACILITIES MANAGEMENT!

Goodwill of Colorado and the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) Foundation have partnered together to offer Facilities Management Pre-Apprenticeship training in the Denver Area. Through this partnership, Facilities Management students receive free course materials and instruction from full-time facilities management professionals, payment for time in class, two years of job placement support, and three accredited certifications including: Essentials of Facilities Management, Essentials of Sustainable Facility Management, and OSHA-10.

Facilities Management is a growing industry with several opportunities for career advancement – from operations and maintenance, to business and finance, to tenant services and sustainability. Facility Managers are in strong demand, with projected job growth of 19% over the next 10 years. 

The Facilities Management Training Pre-Apprenticeship is part of the Denver Green Jobs initiative. Students will learn how Facilities Management practices impact sustainability, work with clean energy, and ways to develop career pathways into the green workforce.  

This job training program is eligible for residents in Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas and Jefferson counties. For additional questions email IFMAprogram@goodwillcolorado.org.
