Emmett moved to Colorado in 2019 expecting to work a summer job, but a timely discovery of Goodwill’s BankWork$ program opened the door to an entirely new career path. After more than eight years in visitor services at the Pittsburgh Zoo, he was ready for a role with growth, stability, and new challenges, and BankWork$ helped him turn a leap of faith into a future in banking.
 
Since graduating from BankWork$, Emmett has advanced from teller-banker roles to branch management, first with U.S. Bank and now with PNC, where he recently helped open a new branch in Littleton. Along the way, he’s discovered that the heart of his work has never changed: his passion is helping people feel heard, supported, and better off than when they arrived.
