Discover Goodwill Hosts “Destination: Independence” Themed Annual Dinner
Capacity Crowd Enjoys High-Touch, High-Impact Celebration
Colorado Springs, CO. – May 1, 2018 – Discover Goodwill’s April 26 Annual Dinner, sponsored by ANB Bank, set course for a mission-minded, emotionally-charged evening highlighting business partners and program participants who profoundly contributed to the nonprofit’s life-transforming mission and services in 2017.
Discover Goodwill President and CEO Karla Grazier and Governing Board Chair Deborah Hendrix kicked off the festivities by highlighting the collective efforts of the organization’s many “Ambassadors of Goodwill,” who helped pave the path to independence for over 84,000 individuals in need—including nearly 25,000 individuals who received job training and support, and over 9,100 job seekers who were placed into community employment.
