2017 Family Strengthening Award Honoree Sylvia Johnson

Currently a recruiting coordinator in Goodwill’s Human Resources Department, Sylvia Johnson is a true inspiration to everyone she encounters. Sylvia has overcome barriers including homelessness and abuse all while juggling the demands of being a single mother. With a smile that radiates every room, contagious positivity, and unyielding determination; nothing can bring this strong, courageous woman down.
