2019 Inspiration Award Honoree Megan Hester

Megan is a member of the janitorial enclave at the Thornton Goodwill store. She doesn’t let her developmental disability or permanent ankle injury slow her down! Despite those obstacles, Megan never gives up and never misses a day of work. Thanks to her job at Goodwill, Megan has become close friends with former Power of Work awardee Tonya Johnson. This friendship inspired Megan to go back to school to get her degree in Early Childhood Education!
